Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice and Takedown Policy
FreeBacklink respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users of our platform to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
This DMCA Policy applies to all content hosted on FreeBacklink, including business listings, guest blog posts, user-submitted descriptions, and any other content that appears on our platform at freebacklinks.corebrief.in.
If you believe that content on FreeBacklink infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include the following information to be valid: a clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; the specific URL or location on our website where the infringing material is found; your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address; a statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
DMCA takedown notices should be sent through our contact page with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice". Please include all required information listed above. Incomplete notices may not be processed.
Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will acknowledge receipt of the notice within 48 hours, review the claim and identify the allegedly infringing content, remove or disable access to the content if the claim is valid, notify the user who submitted the content about the takedown, and keep a record of the notice for legal compliance.
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it previously appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address, phone number, and email address, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district, and your physical or electronic signature. Counter-notifications should be sent through our contact page with the subject "DMCA Counter-Notification".
FreeBacklink maintains a policy of terminating the accounts or blocking submissions from users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. If a user receives multiple valid DMCA notices, their listings and guest posts may be permanently removed and future submissions may be blocked.
Please note that filing a false DMCA takedown notice may result in legal liability. Before filing a notice, make sure you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, and that you genuinely believe the use of the material is not authorized.
